“Annual Sports Meet 2009” of St. Vincent Pallotti School (SVPS), Nagpur was held today, January 17, 2009 and was enjoyed by a large number of parents, dignitaries and confreres. The students, 1697 in number, divided into four houses, exhibited a competitive sports and colourful dance to mark the culmination of their annual sports and games of the academic year. Shree D.G. Philip (ias), MD of Maharashtra Mining Co-operation was the Chief Guest. In his address he appreciated the management of the school for integrating all classes of students in the school –rich, poor, clever, weak–irrespective of religion and caste.  He also advised the parents to cooperate with the management and the teachers to pass on to the new generation the values of goodness, sincerity and perseverance.
