The re-constructed Mount Carmel Church at Kavalangadu was blessed and consecrated on 28th of December, 2008 at 3.00pm. Rt. Rev. Sebastain Thekkathecheril, assisted by Very Rev. Fr. Augustine Varickakal, officiated the consecration ceremony. Many of our confreres and religious from in and around Kavalangadu graced the occasion. On this happy day in the life of Kavalangadu parish we fondly remember and congratulate Fr. Varghese Madan and the parishioners for their tireless efforts in realising this dream.
