SVPC students participates in Pallottine Youth Encounter at Melbourne

Twenty students of St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPC), together with Fr. George Madeikkal, represented Indian Pallottines at the Pallottine Youth Encounter at Melbourne, in preparation for the World Youth Day. It was organised by the Pallottines of Australian Region from 4th to 13th July, 2008. One hundred and sixty youth from Brazil, Belize, Germany, Canada, USA, South Africa, Cameroon, Australia and India participated in the Encounter. Pallottine Youth Encounter began on 4th July with Holy Eucharistic Celebration by Rev. Fr. Zenon Hanas, Vice General. The encounter consisted of various concerts, seminars, and conferences guided by eminent Pallottines like Rev. Fr. Ray Haverns, Rev. Fr. Pat Jackson etc.  The Encounter was an international experience of communion and sharing guided by the spirit of St. Vincent Pallotti and a vision of a living Church where all are called to grow in faith and communicate the love of Christ to the World. Thanks a million to the Pallottines of Australian Region for their initiative, support and hospitality.
