Siyum is a mission station in Arunachal 90kms away from Daporijo, the headquarters of Upper Subansiri District. It was, so far, a substation of Daporijo Parish with 8 village churches. On March 29, 2009, Rt. Rev. Dr. John Kattrukudiyil, the bishop of Itanagar diocese, erected it as an independent Parish, and entrusted it to the pastoral care of the Pallottines, and appointed Rev. Fr. Augustine Kolencherry as its first Vicar.  On the same day he, assisted by the Provincial Very Rev. Fr. Augustine Varickakal and Provincial Consultor, Rev. Fr. George Madeikkal,  blessed and inaugurated the newly constructed St. Vincent Pallotti Church. We convey our hearty congratulation to Rev. Fr. Augustine Kolencherry and Rev. Fr. Anto Mullanal.
