The First Pallotti Day Celebration in Zambia

The Pallottine Fathers in Zambia celebrated the Feast of St. Vincent Pallotti on 12 January. The presence of Rev. Fr. Mathew Panakal SAC, the former Provincial made our first Pallotti Day celebration in Zambia a memorable one. Rev. Fr. Oliver Mukunda, the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Lusaka, presided over the Holy Mass. A newly formed English Choir consisting of 35 youth from our two churches sang at the occasion. Almost 200 guests consisting of priests of the Deanery, various religious men and women, members of the Parish Councils of the three churches and lay collaborators from the Lusaka city graced the occasion. They were provided with delicious meal prepared by the people of the parish.
