Insight 09: the annual Parent-Faculty Interactive was organized at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology on January 25, 2009. Most Rev. Abraham Viruthakulangara, archbishop of Nagpur, assisted by Very Rev. Fr. Augustine Varickakal, Chairman of Nagpur Pallottine Society inaugurated the function. Archbishop in his motivational speech lauded the institution for attaining high levels of excellence in a short period of time. He also appreciated the initiative by the management of fee waiver schemes for the deserving economically weak students. Rev. Fr. Augustine Varickakal shared his vision of the institute with the parents. Rev. Fr. George Madeikal, Manager of the Institute, in his speech, spelt out the various welfare and incentive schemes initiated by the Management for the Faculty and students.  Around 900 parents from different parts of the country attended the meet. An interactive session was held, where parents interacted with the teachers and got an insight into their ward’s performance. On the occasion outstanding students were given away various prizes instituted by the Institute and well wishers. Later in the evening, Mr. Vijay Phanshikar, Editor of The Hitavada news paper, the Chief Guest for the valedictory function, kept the audience of around 2000 students and parents spellbound with his valedictory address.
