The General Body Meeting of the UAC unit at Nagpur was held on February 21, 2010 at Pallottine Animation Centre, Nagpur. The meeting began with the Holy Eucharistic celebration at 9.00am presided over by Rev. Fr. George Madeikkal. After the Mass, Rev. Fr. Antony Kaithaparambil and Mrs. Jecintha Jack conducted a session on “Family Apostolate”. It was followed by a recapitulation on the theme of the Novena to St. Vincent Pallotti, “Being Apostles of Jesus in this Changing World” by Rev. Fr. Joy Palachuvattil. In the afternoon session it drew up various actions plans for the future, both spiritual and temporal. Rev. Fr. Augustine Varickakal and Fr. Thomas Vijay also addressed the gathering and encouraged them to be zealous apostles of Jesus in this ever changing world. During the Holy hour the members renewed their apostolic commitment to UAC.

On February 15, 2010 Rev. Fr. Provincial laid the foundation stone for the nursery building at the premises of Pallotti Hill Public School, Mukkom. It was held at a simple function in the presence of the management and staff of the school.  We pray that this project may be realized at the earliest.

Pallottine Social Apostolate Cell (PSAC) of our Province, with the collaboration of brothers from Pallotti Bhawan and UAC lay members put up a food stall at the grotto our Lady of Lourdes at Nagpur on its feast, February 13-14, 2010. The grotto is the Pilgrimage centre of the Nagpur Archdiocese where every year a large crowd gathers to seek blessings through the intercession of our lady of Lourdes, the patroness of the archdiocese. The food stall with the caption “Forgotten Lives beyond the Mountains” was aimed at to raise funds for our new mission at Arunachal. Many congratulations to Fr. Mathew Thonickal, Coordinator of PSAC, brothers, and members UAC for their hard work and commitment to raising funds for our mission.
